Not What They Fought For: How 31st August "March For Australia" Echoes Nazis, NOT WW2 Heroism

Tomorrow’s “March For Australia” is what many have labeled as our patriotic duty to stand shoulder to shoulder in telling this government that we should keep Australia, Australia. Which is a sentiment that I do stand with IF it wasn’t for the fact that this particular march isn’t one that our grandfathers and their fathers would have agreed with. This particular march has been organized by neo-nazis by the National Socialist Network (NSN).

Tomorrow, 31 August 2025, Australia faces a paradox disguised under patriotic rhetoric. The so-called “March for Australia” claims to echo the values of those who fought for freedom and democracy, yet, beneath its veneer of heritage, it has been commandeered by white-supremacist extremists. As neo-Nazis align themselves with its messaging, the rally ceases to be a tribute to our grandfathers and becomes instead a distortion of their sacrifice.

The NSN have stated that they will be attending “in uniform” to “interact with members of the public who support us. We will be attending on the basis of good faith, supporting the message of stopping immigration and the demographic replacement of White Australians.”

Even Bec Freedom said herself, “But if we break it down, this is how I tried to explain it to somebody. I said, okay, so protect Australian heritage, culture, way of life. The next step, protect European culture, heritage, way of life. The next step is protect white heritage. So it all means the same thing. It's just different ways to put it. A shame heritage by saying it that way, it is more appealing to the public. It's going to deter them from saying, oh, it's a Nazi rally, blah, blah, blah.” 

And the male who was speaking with her in the recording of the same conversation said prior to Bec’s response was “Like, if I said this to someone in my DMs who was having a go at me. I was like, if the migrant community if this migrant multicultural kind of Kumbaya community co ops the anti immigration movement, we're fucked because all we're gonna have is another ten years of migrants debating with other migrants about what Australia like, how many migrants should be coming in. And while it's happening, the white Australians here has been completely outnumbered. We're gonna lose every bit of political power we have. So it can't happen.”

These little examples, shows just how dangerous this rally really is and IF you go, you can be sure that you will be included in the count of nazis. Which is the complete opposite of what our grandfathers and great grandfathers fought and died for. Please protect their legacy by not going. It is that simple. We are all descendants of immigrants. First Nations are the only ones who aren’t immigrants. And those like Bob Katter, who likes to hide his Lebanese heritage, wouldn’t have existed if it wasn’t for those immigrants. The very same, people he would like to bar coming to Australia. It is an irony that cannot be missed.
